1. Overview

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Unify Meet's video meeting and collaboration services (the "Service"), including all software, applications, and associated documentation provided by Unify Meet ("we," "us," or "our").

By signing up or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Your Account

  • Registration. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
  • Security. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
  • Eligibility. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
  • Acceptable Use. You may not share accounts or transfer your account without our prior written consent.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not:

  • Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights;
  • Use the Service to transmit harmful or malicious code;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers;
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others;
  • Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service;
  • Use the Service for any high-risk activities (e.g., nuclear facilities, medical life support, air traffic control).

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.

4. Customer Content

  • Your Content. You retain all rights to content you upload, record, or transmit through the Service ("Customer Content").
  • License to Us. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and process Customer Content as necessary to provide the Service.
  • Responsibility. You are solely responsible for Customer Content, and you represent that you have all necessary rights to share it.
  • Removal. We may remove or disable access to Customer Content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

5. AI Features

Unify Meet uses artificial intelligence ("AI") to provide features such as transcriptions, summaries, action item extraction, and intelligent scheduling. By using AI features:

  • You acknowledge that AI-generated outputs may not always be accurate and should be reviewed before relying on them;
  • You agree that meeting audio and metadata may be processed by AI models to generate these features;
  • Customer Content used for AI features will not be used to train our foundation models unless you separately opt-in or have a specific agreement with us;
  • AI features are provided on a best-effort basis and may be modified, limited, or discontinued at any time.

6. Privacy & Data Protection

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect Customer Content. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

7. Fees, Payment & Billing

  • Plans. Certain features or usage tiers require a paid subscription. Pricing is available at our website or in-app.
  • Payment. You agree to pay all fees associated with your selected plan. Payment is due as stated in your billing cycle.
  • Auto-renewal. Plans renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel from the billing settings.
  • Taxes. Fees are exclusive of taxes; you are responsible for applicable taxes.
  • Late payments. We may suspend or limit the Service for overdue accounts.

8. Intellectual Property & Feedback

  • Our IP. Unify Meet owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, software, designs, and trademarks.
  • Feedback. If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction or obligation to you.

9. Third-Party Services

The Service may integrate with or link to third-party products. Your use of third-party products is subject to their terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party products.

10. Confidentiality

"Confidential Information" means non-public information disclosed by a party that is designated as confidential or should reasonably be understood as confidential. The receiving party will use the same degree of care it uses to protect its own similar information (and at least reasonable care) to protect Confidential Information and will not disclose it except to personnel and service providers who need to know it and are bound by confidentiality obligations.

11. Security; Beta Features

  • Security. We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect the Service and Customer Content.
  • Beta. Beta or pre-release features are provided "as is," may be modified or discontinued, and may be subject to additional terms.

12. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. UNIFY MEET DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL UNIFY MEET BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS PAID BY YOU TO UNIFY MEET FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY OR, IF NONE, ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

14. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Unify Meet and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Customer Content; or (c) your breach of these Terms or violation of applicable law.

15. Suspension & Termination

  • We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms, fail to pay fees, or pose a risk to the Service or other users.
  • You may stop using the Service at any time. For paid plans, cancellation will be effective at the end of the current term.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases, but certain provisions will survive (e.g., IP, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitations, indemnification).

16. Governing Law; Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. The parties will first attempt to resolve disputes informally. If unresolved after thirty (30) days, disputes will be brought in the courts of Paris, France, and the parties consent to their personal jurisdiction and venue.

If you are a consumer and local law gives you mandatory protections, those protections remain unaffected.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified in the Service or via email. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.

Heads-up: This page provides general terms. If your organization has a separate signed agreement with Unify Meet, that agreement will control to the extent of any conflict.
